AP Calculus AB
Calculus AB is designed to cover the equivalent of one semester of college calculus over the span of a year. Calculus AB covers derivatives, definite integrals, and the fundamental theorem of calculus.
This class will take students through the topics covered in AP Calculus, including the following:
•Limits and Properties
•Differentiation: Slopes of Curves
•Applications of Differentiation
•Integration
•Logarithmic / Exponential Functions
•Differential Equations
•Applications of Integration
•Integration Techniques, L’Hopital’s Rule, and Improper IntegralsAs this is an accelerated summer course, we will cover as much as we can in the 6 weeks of class. Once complete you will have a foundational understanding of calculus AB that will help you in your future courses.
Textbooks:Calculus I with Precalculus 3rd Edition
All class materials will be provided in ecopy via the class page before the class.
